Register Maintenance / Registration

Everyone who invests in a fund must be registered as a shareholder as soon as they have paid for their units. Each shareholder is then issued with confirmation of their holding in the fund.

Register maintenance is also responsible for keeping the register up to date, for example, as regards deaths and probate, change of address or change of name details.
 

Interview Tip:

Think about what pieces of Anti money-laundering and know your client (KYC) information is needed before a new entry is made on the unit register. Think about what documents are needed before you would process a death, a change of address or change of name.
